...after reading over all of your information one last time...

i've come up with the following suggestions...

but first of all, i'd like to say....

i'm not making any personal attacks on you, or your mechanic skills.

Even a master saab mechanic makes little simple mistakes every once in a while, we're all human, so you've got to accept the POSSIBILITY, and that's all it is, a possibility, that you made a error during one of your repair jobs.

So...

with that said... consider double checking all of your work, if you're not going to bring your car to a mechanic. You might find that all it was was a simple mistake...

I've read your posts and i've seen how many times you've swapped injectors around.

During one of these injector swaps, would have been an opportunity to accidentally swap two of the injector signal wires.

This is my last call for you to double check the connections... I'm going to bet money two of them are swapped.

My friend accidentally switched his spark plug wires on his 86 9000 turbo one time, and his car still started and drove, but it didn't boost much and ran like crap. It's the same situation as your car though... a spark plug is firing when there is no fuel in the cylander, and thus nothing is happening...

on your a fuel injector of yours is injecting fuel, but there is no spark from the DI cassette to ignite it at the proper moment...

this would ALSO cause your spark plugs to turn black, from having so much fuel inside of them going unburned...

I would seriously, honestly, with all my heart tell you that you should check the cylander 1 and 2 injector wires...

that's the last time i will say it.

Ok...

so as far as the reason why your fuel pump is not getting 12 volts...

this happened to me once when my LH ecu stopped working. There was no reason for it to stop working, it just stopped working.

At one point i had to swap out BOTH of my computers to get the car to start and run again...

i hate to say it but with all of your computer swapping, this is another opportunity for static or something to have damages one of your computers.

All it takes is the ammount of static electricity that you would emit when you shock someone after walking on a carpet... to fry a component in one of the computers... and render it useless.

I see that you've done a lot of computer swapping...

I would suggest, ONLY using computers that were designed to work in the specific year, and model of your car.

Find and use replacements only having ever been used in a 1991 9000 cd turbo, and automatic...

If you still have that computer, try starting your car with it again.

If you have another ecu to test start with, try that too.

The problem with the computers and the fuel pump that i had was, there was no Ignition pulse going to pin one of the ECU, which meant that the ECU didnt "realize" that the engine was trying to crank over... and it wasn't "waking up" the fuel pump.

like i said, the no signal to pin one problem happened in my car without warning...

I replaced the crank position sensor to try and get the problem fixed. This is where the ignition pulse signal originates.

check out your CPS connection, it might have come loose.

look up CPS on this bb for more info..

i WANT you to get your car fixed...

i would like that very much, and so would you i'm sure!

This is the reason i even take time out of my day to post anything on here, cause i want to help...

If you're not open to the idea of going to a mechanic for help though, why are you trying to get help from the BB?

You have to admit evey once and a while, that you don't know everything... and you need other people's help.

So... with that said... consider taking a trip to jak's mobile, in Black mountain, NC...

look up JAK on the performance BB, and you'll see how much help he's given to the saab community.

Also look up "gavin" on the Performance bb, and you'll see my past posts about how much jak helped me.

this is my last post...
