if you got bad fuel, change your filter. THis is a good measure anytime you get contaminated fuel. The great thing about our Saabs is the APC is supposed to calibrate your engine based on the fuel quality you put in the tank...allowing us to use 87 octane if we choose, while getting better performance if we want to pay extra for the 93 octane.
The other possible cause is the failure of your hooter (turbo bipass) valve or some other vac leak. The hooter valve is on the back/bottom side of your air intake ductwork. It is fitted to the intake ductwork, and has a couple smaller rubber hoses attached to it.
If you have a leaky vac line or hooter valve, it will allow your throttle plate to be blown shut by the force of air in the intake when you are slowing to a stop. This happened to me twice during my 9 years of owning my 9000CD. The first time, my hooter valve had failed, the second time it was a broken vacuum line.
