Glad to hear you had an easier time of it than others, and
that you could walk away.

My thoughts are based on 2 main things - over 30 years of
driving and staying in one piece without them, and - several
local families that lost adult members due to the severity of
airbag injuries in minor collisions.
Tertiary to these are those that have deployed improperly
for no reason at all, causing accidents and injuries and
expenses where otherwise there would have been none at all.

I realize that there are folks that will do -anything- to
feel safe, vs. other folks that actually believe that being
in the immediate vicinity of explosives is also perfectly
safe, but I prefer to avoid them completely, for all reasons.

IMO, the world was safer when we were responsible for our
own personal safety.
