potential, though exceedingly unlikely, problem!

I took the car to a car wash. As the brushes want over the back of the car they spun the wiper round so it was pointing backwards (obviously the nut wasn't tight enough). The the brushes started to come forwards again, and they simply levered the wiper arm upwards, broke the rear screen into a zillion particles, and started filling the car up with water.

I drove out of the wash immediately, and the garage was kind enough to give me the full amount of my insurance excess (deductible?) if I left things there.

So, if you do fit one of these wipers, suggest you don't let that nut get loose...
