A cracked black plastic base cover will/should not set a TCS mil light. You need to have the codes in the TCS system scanned for so you can find the problem.
But i would also pull the black plastic base cover off the bottom of the DI cassette to see what caused the damage to it.You need to remove the DI and then pull the black base cover off.Inside this piece is 4 silicone spark plug boots which contain the terminal springs that conduct the spark voltage from the individual cylinder coils base plate terminal plate to the terminal of the spark plug. When you have the black base cover removed, the next thing to do is to remove the silicone spark plug boot from the #4 position. It's held in place by a groove it has in it at the sparkplug end that the black cover resides in push the silicone in towards the center while also pushing the boot out of the cover.Wipe the sparkplug boot down and carefully inspect it both outside and inside(after you remove the center spring)for signs of voltage flashover and arcing on/thur the silicone material. If you find signs you will need to find a used DI you can use to get the replacement parts from you need. This could have cracked the cover due to thermal stress.
If you don't find any signs, most likely someone droped the DI and cracked the cassette's black base,it's not that damage to the cracked base plastic but damage to the curcuits in the top that could become a problem from being dropped that will develop.
