First, just so you know, BMW doesn't make a V-6. Their sixes are in-line.
I agree with you on the torque thing though. You simply have to get used to driving the engine you're sitting behind. I must say that the smoothness of the BMW 6's is amazing...turbine like in their power delivery...I can only imagine a newer variable valve timing version (Like the 3.0 or 3.2 in the new 3 and M3.
Once you get used to the low-end torque in a Saab turbo, you have a wake-up call when you drive something else.
I'm thinking that the torque coming out of a new 'Vette would be similar to the B234, but who wants half the fuel efficiency?
