then the LPT had 170 HP and the FPT 200 HP. The only difference between the two is boost pressure which is controlled by software and a boost pressure control valve that's on the FPT. Add the valve and software to a LPT and it's a real FPT with 200 HP.
The turbo and engine internals are the same and *very* stout. You can get a lot more than 200 HP out of the LPT if you want. A stage 1 ECU upgrade including the valve, from for example Maptun, increases power to 245 hp.
