And it wasn't so cheap to upgrade when the cars were new. Remember, there wasn't the supply of used ECU's around then, so it was $1,000 for an FPT ECU from the dealer, and $250 for the BPC valve, and it was getting into a grey area as to whether or not you were affecting your warranty... Now, for $300, it's a no-brainer to upgrade.
