First off, are you saying that after you loaded the fridge, you had the radio set to the on position before you turned on the ignition? If the radio was off, there's no reason the fuse should have blown even if the speaker wires were touching. That brings up my next point. Which speaker wires were necessary to disconnect? Is this a factory subwoofer or aftermarket? In any case, if you are sure the wires are now all connected properly as they were before, it must be either an internal fault in the head unit or amplifier, or a problem in the wiring somewhere you can't see. Of these two, given that the fuse blew while the wires were all disconnected, I would lean more towards a problem in the amp now. I would try disconnecting the wires at the speakers (rear and sub at least), replacing the fuse, then turning the stereo on again to see if it still blows the fuse.
