The car will not crank. When you turn the key to the start position I get nothing but a dash full of lights, the ACC comes on. I think I hear a click when I try to start but it is tough to tell. The car started just fine on the way to work. I took a piece of wire and went directly to the start solenoid from the battery. There was a click from the solenoid but nothing else. Bear with me I'm not much of any electrical troubleshooter. Went to the archives and found the emergency start procedure to bypass the ignition switch. Went from the 5 oclock pin to the battery and I got the starter to spin for a split second but then nothing. I will try this again. That is why I took out the starter to see if it was bad because I thought maybe the windings were bad causing the starter gear not to turn.
