You must be clairvoyant (sp) or something. Yes, the battery has gone dead several times. It would not start the car yesterday, so I threw it on the charger and the charger charged it to full in about an hour, which is very odd (12v 6 amp charger). Usually it takes much longer.
I do have a 200 milliamp setting on the meter, I actually sprang the dough for a real nice meter. I did try every setting for the meter, with no luck, I could only get it to read volts, which is not helpful.
I think I might replace the battery. Even when fully charged, the car starts sluggishly. There is something about Saabs that is hard on batterys. My old 900 Turbo went dead all the time too, althought heat was a bigger factor with that car (or was it the 700 watt stereo amp? :) ).
I may try an Optima battery. Any feedback on these? They are $$ but I want to get some reliability...
