I remember somebody mentioned this technique before. My dad showed it to me.
Use a parking brake whenever you are at complete stop. This way you can depress clutch and use a gas pedal without worring about rolling back or downhill.
Start releasing clutch and parking brake at the same time.
Heavy vibration means your engine doesn't get enough power to get drivetrain going while you are switching between pedals- I'm not sure, but it means low oil pressure at that moment-not too good for your engine. Do you hear knocking during vibration? If you are parking downhill, turn your wheels towards curb and put it in reverse (Saab also recommends to park it with reverse gear engaged all the time).
My 2 cents.
