What to install with automatic transmission?

(1993 9000cse turbo 203K miles)
With at least 183K miles on the auto transmission (we got car at 20K) it's started acting like it needs governor seals. I was looking into governor seals but instead bought a new automatic from Saab Depot on ebay. Wish me luck.

So, what else to replace when the tranny is out? I don't want to go nuts, but I have three kids aged 15 to 17 and I think I know this car inside out so I'll probably have it at least three more years. In particular, I'm not familiar with the center part of the drive train. I'm thinking about:

1. Steering rack - It's working fine now, but this was the car that had no power steering to the left last month which cleared up with a fluid change. This also has at least 183K on it.
2. Drive shaft bearings, seals? The front end is pretty quiet, a very little bit of a rumble on engine braking coming from the center or right. I replaced right axle and wheel bearing last year.

Anything else I should look closely at that's much easier when transmission is out?
