Just tried a test drive, thinking maybe if I get it moving it will resolve something.
It starts going up and down in the rpm after I get moving (it still idles great right after starting). As I drive, if I am cruising with constant pressure on the pedal it seems to cruise or decelerate like I took my foot off. It alternates between these two things. When I floor it it runs hard and fast and hits overboost fuel cut off, but if I floor it softer it accelerates smooth.
When slowing down, once the rpm are around 1500 the engine will pull the car along, it will not slow the car down as it normally should.
These things lead me more and more to think it's the TPS sensor, the IAC isn't stuck open because when i start the car it's fine. the throttle has more of an "on/off" attitude now I can't smoothly roll into it or off of it.
I'm going to call a local indy shop to see if they have one in stock.
