If it's the CD player part of the combined unit, why not? In the US market, the changer cable comes preinstalled in the car. I have two ideas:
1. You could send one of the CD/Equalizer units to Clarion for repair, they have a flat rate of something like $75-100. Do a search for the contact info or I believe that it is in the FAQ section of this website.
2. You could buy a CD changer for about $85-150. Bill Davies posted a response a few months ago about an electronics place in the US that has the appropriate model, had "refurbished" units for about $85 or so.
