When I tried to change the fuel filter 2 years ago, the banjo fittings were seized up on the inner side of the two. I wound up crushing the end of the filter to the point that it started leaking and now I was unable to even drive it to a mechanic. I had to have it towed to my Saab indie to finish the work.

I've done them many times on my other Saab's, and have never had a problem. Just this once it gave me hell, so be forewarned.

As to the size of the wrenches, one is 19mm and the other is 15mm.

Be sure to relieve the fuel pressure first (run the engine, pull the fuel pump fuse, let the engine die, put the fuse back in, do the filter work).
