As you gain experience, consider doing upgrades at that point. Right now, you have more than enough to keep you busy. For example, I've been doing car repairs for over 20 years, yet it still took 11 hours for me to install the upgraded rear sway bar I bought, and the front wasn't a piece of cake, either, because of tight fit.

Anyway, quasimotors.com is a great resource, better than Hayes. However, you'll need Haynes because quasi's site is not comprehensive. Haynes has torque values for most bolts, and you should follow these exactly. For an unlisted bolt, note the bolt size and compare it to a listed, similar type of bolt size and application. As far as bolts go, your best friends for loosening them are PB Blaster, time, and hexagonal sockets instead of the usual 12-pointed sockets.

For suspension work, you just need enough room to comfortably work under the car. Tires about 6 to 8 inches off the floor does it for me. Pay heed to all the safety tips that have been mentioned so far. I block both rear wheels, front and back of them, before going under the car.

The front suspension rear control arm bushings are a big job. The bolts are difficult and the area is messy. I definitely agree with your choice of a pre-made bolt-on bushing. 16 and 18 mm wrenches a must. For final torquing of the bolt on the rear bushing, the car must be lowered to the ground, but that leaves you so little room to get a wrench in there. Therefore, I lower the car onto a double thickness of 2 x 6 boards.

Loads of info on this board. Have fun.
