No PCV issues, the DI lasts longer and doesn't usually die when you're going 80 on the highway. Also no dreaded code 08 problems with the ACC. No real electrical problems, power stuff accessories are pretty reliable, as is the AC. You read stuff about screwy headlights and pictograms, etc...but that's relatively rare and usually can be attributed to something simple like a bad ground. The 9-5 has tons of computer controlled stuff, so it's not quite as simple to repair.
That said, the heater core and blower motor will need to be replaced at some point, and the headgaskets are good for around 150-200k miles...but they don't last forever in the 9-5 either.
One note: if you get a 9000 that has over 100k (say around 115-120k) miles, chances are the heater core, blower motor, DI, and maybe even headgasket will have already been done. Mileage is not an issue for these engines if they've had proper service (oil changes at the proper intervals, etc)...they'll go well over 400k if they have to.
But you really should drive the two first. I prefer the solid feel of the 9000 over the 9-5. It's quite a difference from your NG900 too.
