1996 = no traction control, nice Harmon Kardon system, woodgrain dash, pockets in the front of the seats, cup holders in the rear armrest; personally my favorite year. I don't care for the "2.3 Turbo" badge that was added in 1997; I think it clutters up the back end of a clean looking car.
What color is it by they way? As much as I would love to tell you it isn't worth anything, and that you should sell it for $3k, I'd have to say realistically that to the right person, you could get $8000+ for the car. The car would have to be the right color, and in excellent cosmetic and mechanical condition, but it would bring $8k. Unlike many 'rare' cars, Aero drivers DRIVE the cars; they don't sit in the driveway, so finding a low mileage Aero with all the goodies really is getting tough. If you wanted to quickly wash your hands of it, I bet you could get $6k for it today.
