as you turn the wrench. It can help break loose the crud that has probably built up around the connections. Tap on the wrench while you keep pressure on the connection to loosen it. It's also good to apply po down by the threads, but be careful not to get it near the clutch disk. Any lube leaking down in the capture area will kill the clutch.
