I am doing my home to replace my A/T on my 97 Aero, 113k. Eriksson's is $2,100 plus freight and core. Saabsite is $1,675 plus freight and core. Saabsite says theirs is rebuilt by Eriksson's and gives basically the same warranty. Does anyone have knowledge of this and has anyone bought a autobox from Saabsite that can vouch for them.

Also what should labor for removal install be? How many hours. I am in Kentucky and rates outside dealers run from 60 to 75 per hour last I checked. I am a fairly good DIY'er. Is this too much to tackle having never done one before? I am probably like most DIY I like to save money but I probably care more about having it done right. Any help is appreciated.
