You should be able to repair the tranny for less than 3-4k. My indy took apart my tranny, replaced the broken circlip that caused the gear to jam and a scored gear. He also did the clutch and slave while in there, and the total cost was around $1500. Tranny on '95Aero has been fine since-4yrs. These are tough trannys, so should be fixable.

If not, a used unit should be cheaply available somewhere.

127k is young for a 9000. I'd fix and keep. If you go to 9-5, go for the later years.
