The rear axle is solid from hub to hub. If the alignment needs to be adjusted, it is only possible by bending or replacing the axle.
Ref: SAAB 9000 SERVICE MANUAL 7 Suspension and Wheels
Section 700-2 Rear Suspension
Rear Axle: The rear axle comprises a tube with welded-on mountings for the spring links and welded-on hub carriers at either end, to which the brake caliper, torque rod and disc backplate are bolted.
I do, however, reccomend that we should allways get four wheel allignments. That way, we know if there is a problem with the rear.
