Its time to do my Brakes soon. Everytime I go on Ebay I drool at those cross drilled rotors even though I dont need them because I drive my SAAB 9000 most of the time about as fast as a Monk rushes to a bookstore after a day of hand writing books all day. Nevertheless the thought has occurred to me that the Brake Rotors may need to be replaced or am I dreaming? The former owner was like me, a rather pedestrian boring old ph_rt who loved his car. The car is about 180 K . On my Diesel Mercedes at 350K the new rotors looked thinner than the old ones. I dont want to goldplate the car.
Also what are evryone's thoughts about Ceramic Brake pads. I have them on my Mercedes Diesel; they seem okay.
