What are peoples experiences who have faced this Question as the foam hits them in the face. I've reseached the postings and there has been a strong feeling to go without. To avoid the flying foam in the future. Can some one share their results ie. more noise from blower, more vibration? did this effect the AC operation. For those who replaced the foam any insight as to type of foam used (open or closed cell) and type of adhesive used. I'm inclined to use 3M super spray adhesive. Will it hold up to the heat? the other likely candidate would be weather stripping adhesive. Both of these seem to have little residual odor. But nothing to indicat their temp. range.
This is the second time I've had the blower out, heater core and then blower motor. I would like it to be my last for many years to come. Please help with this project. The Saab Network has been great I couldn't rebuild the car without it THANK YOU David 1990 9000s 5sp non_turbo 185k
