Where's the data that shows that drilled and slotted (D&S) rotors are worse that solid rotors? I have heard this before only from this board yet multiple makes and models of different cars and rotors continue to use them and manufacture them. I, in fact, have them on my Sonett and 9000 Aero and I love them! Our indy has had them for years on a 9000 with ~700K on the clock and NEVER, not one, rotor issue. I drive the 9000 daily in city traffic. I drive the Sonett in city traffic and I have not experienced excellent braking power but longer life in my metal pads. If drilling was so detrimental to braking performance and safety why hasn't the government or some other automotive body come out and said something against them? I don't buy the argument that D&S rotors are bad, but I will continue to buy those rotors.
