Time to replace the JT 3"...

Well, the trusty JT 3" exhaust I installed years ago is finally starting to sprout exhaust leaks, currently only around the rear muffler (both the inlet pipe and where it meets the muffler itself). It has lasted 70K miles, which is excellent as far as I'm concerned for an aftermarket system.
I want to stay with the rest of the 3", so I'm looking to use 3" parts. Has anyone ever replaced parts of their JT system, and if so, with what?
I would like the sound to stay the same as it is now. The JT is very close to stock sound until you drive it hard, then it eminates a true turbo sound.
Also, since it's only the rear muffler that's affected, it is safe to assume the mid-muffler is not far behind? Is it easier just to replace from the long intermediate pipe back? Are there pieces out there that will hook up to the existing JT or will I need to cut the intermediate pipe to make things fit?
