Bill - the previous Brembo rotors had less than 10K miles on them before they were warped. The new ones I have on now that replaced those had about 5k miles before the Driver side rotor got badly warped. So, I decided to have it turned as opposed to replacing it, hoping that the new suspension parts to be installed and the onset of warm Spring weather would extend its period before warping again. Driver side has the major warpage problem, hence the many initial questions.
Seems that initial 'break-in' is a science that I have not paid much attention to and will now learn more about.
What is your opposition to machining the rotors based on, considering only a few hundredths of an inch wear?
Thanks for the reply.
