No help from the 900 board....maybe someone here can help as the pumps are similar to the 9000 guts...
1993 900T fuel pump repair -- the upper rubber donut that surrounds the electric pump motor has three legs connecting to the outer rubber ring. Two of them broke as the pump was being dismounted for replacement of a new electric motor. The Saab part number molded into the rubber ring is 9394560. eEuroparts says that it is not a Saab recognized replacement part number, and there is nothing in the EPC. ScanTech won't sell the rubber ring separately, so what is the next step -- fab something to support the upper portion of the pump? So, for the sake of perhaps using E85 in the future, I should probably use a material that won't melt from being soaked in moonshine. Any ideas on a replacement part or where to buy material to cut into a shape for the double ringed support?
