I've been noticing that you don't see as many as you used to, and this particular board (9000) seems to be moving a bit slower too. That doesn't stop me from wanting to drive mine for as long as possible... the idea of being the eccentric old guy with the ancient funny car from Sweden, in about 15 years from now, really appeals to me. I love the car, and I don't know of anything that could replace it. If I had to exchange it for ONE current production car, I think I could cope with a 9-5 Aero wagon, or a Volvo V70R, or maybe some sort of VW Passat wagon. Of course it wouldn't be the same, but one of those would be about as close as I'd expect to get. There never has been, and probably never will be, anything quite like the 9000. That alone is enough to make them very special and make me want to keep driving mine for as long as possible. I'd like the idea of teaching my children to drive in my 9000. As for the average age of 9000 owner, that could be an interesting survey on TSN... I bet I'm one of the youngest here, and I've been going strong for close to 450 months...
