I definitely don't see as many as I used to either... seemed like even a few years ago, I would regularly see several in our town of about 100,000. Older models and newer ones. Now though it can be a long time before I see any, though I've seen two for sale in recent weeks.
Are 9000 drievrs old? I'm in my very-low 30's. Love the car! (Have to be fair, love my 900 too!)
I thought the line about the ancient funny car from Sweden was funny. When I was driving my 87 900 convertible in southern Illinois one summer, kids playing on thestreet were looking at it and asking what is that thing? Even now in town sometimes people turn their heads at my little 'funny' car.
Totally off topic, but wouldn't a 9000 convertible, somehow retaining much of the hatch space, have been the coolest idea ever? In theory anyway!
