W hose test/cruise testing?

Hey Bill,

I disconnected the W hose briefly - and carefully - and experienced dramatic boost increases. Would that rule out a rusty cotter pin or other mechanical wastegate problems?

The removed transistors, on second look, do not appear visibly melted, but do appear to have seen some heat. And stace, I did admit to being an electrical novice, and even though I did tons of practicing on junk components before even attempting this, I wasn't familiar with the proper use of a heat sink when soldering these. However, I was told that these MOSFETS have very high resistance to heat. I know I done wrong.

And as far as the cruise ECU hunch - that could be very right. I swear it sounded like something inside the cruise ECU box rattled when I removed it. The brake/clutch switches do not appear visibly compromised in any way. Cruise light comes on even when the box is out.
