Ummm, as I said before: Disconnect the cruise control module to get it out of the picture - remember that it is an add-on accessory in some markets, it is not tied to the basic functionality of the car. Wrap the connector in a plastic bag so nothing shorts to the chassis of the car.
This is exactly how I got boost to work properly on my car. After replacing the ECU and the BPC valve with known working units, I still didn't have full boost. I found someone with a Tech 2 analyzer and we went for a short ride, he asked me why the Cruise Control was on, I replied that it wasn't. He said that the per the Tech2, the engine ECU thinks that cruise is on - this is how we came to the solution to disconnect the cruise control ECU - full boost immediately started working.
