There's actually quite a delicate balance of pressure and humidity, even if you had a couple tablespoons of water in there - there's no way it could all be vaporized. For instance the ambient pressure inside the tire is quite high compared to outside. That raises the boiling point and the rate of evap.
But yeah, air in Yuma or in Durango is going to have a lot less water in it.
Don't forget to dry out yours first, there's probably some water in there already.
