Boost troubles need some serious help. (Follow up post)

Hi,
I have a 1996 Saab 9K Aero. I replaced the BPC when I first got the car. The car went from having base boost to holding steady at 15 PSI. All was good for about a month.
Next, the car can no longer hold the 15 psi usually dropping to 10-6 psi range. A few weeks after this started happening the DI cassette started to cause misfires. I replace the DI cassette hoping I would fix the boost fading as well but it did not.
I decided to add octane booster to some gas to see if that would help. I added about 1/3 of the bottle to 5 gallons of gas(said to add the full bottle to 15 g of gas). The car is noticeably quicker now and seems to be responsive. However, now the car over boosts instead of cutting back the boost like before.
Sorry for writing so much but I really need some help. I had the car to the mechanic when I first got it to diagnose the base boost. Before realizing it was the BPC, they tested the intake for leaks and found none. In addition, I have replaced the spark plugs, DI cassette, BPC, and hooter valve. I checked the base boost, and it holds at 5.5-6 psi. The only routine maintenance issue not done yet is the fuel filter.
I have invested a lot of money into this car, and I'm running out of ideas. Has anyone seen anything like this before? The only thing I can think of that's left is the ECU.
