Difference between Timing Chain Tensioners? (picture) Posted by dbreid [Email] (#1192) [Profile/Gallery]

All,
I am in the middle of replacing the headgasket, timing chain and a bunch of other stuff in my 1993 Saab 9000 Aero 5speed. I ordered most of the parts in advance, and one of the parts was the timing chain tensioner.
Below are pictures of the old one (just pulled it out) and the new one I had purchased (OEM Saab) as a replacement.
Can anyone tell me the difference? Should I put the old one back in? Or put the now one in?
