A while back, I had an almost identical situation that you are currently having.

I have a 1991 9000 non-turbo 5spd

Here are the steps that I followed:
Checked Ari's no start checklist.... not sure if i followed to the letter or not (it has been a couple years), but if i didn't its probably my own damned fault.... didn't find anything wierd.

Replaced the fuel filter (it was a little over due).... there was no change, still no start.... what i didn't check here is that the line was DEAD strait... i found a slight kink later on.

Replaced CPS, once again, nothing.

Checked DI... all was good.... getting spark.

Checked Air Mass meter.... things seemed to be correct...

Changed ECU (under drivers seat in my 9000), and jetronic/LH (yours will be trionic) computers.... tried a few different ways.... still no start...

took it back to basics.... examined my fuel lines, and checked for pressure on the fuel rail....mine is easily accessible, not sure how yours is arranged.... I did not have any meters or anything... I was just testing for any pressure.... NO PRESSURE AFTER A FEW CRANKS....

that was my key, not only was there a kink in the line that was obscenely small, but the fuel pump was on its way out as well. (it did have over 140k on it).

Hope this will help... just remember to take it back to basics... it has helped me with some of the most complex problems.
