Thanks for the explanation, it helped a lot in understanding the circuit. Just a couple of questions.
I understand that if the resistor was faulty that a charge of 12v would have blown the fuse, as it did twice. Why did it not blow the fuse the third time? It appears to me now that there is no current coming through from the switch to the resistor, how would that happen? Is the low speed relay before resistor in the circuit?
