What year?
You check the power to the pump with and without the fuse - what were the results? Did you see power at the fuel pump with the fuse in? With the fuse out? Where did you measure the voltage? When you check the fuel pressure to the regulator and the rail, what where they?
When you pull the plugs to put in new ones, how did they look?
Please- any hint helps.
Fuel spilling out of the manifold sounds a lot like a stuck open injector. That's a lot of fuel. If it was the fuel pump fuse (#14) - the fuel pump should not run. However, if the fuel pump gets some power, it will pressurize the system and you'll still get some fuel flow and pressure for a while even with the pump de-energized.
When the engine did run, did it seem like it was running on only 3 cylinders? How long did you have it running that way? If an injector was stuck open, it would dump a lot of raw fuel into the cat, and that could damage it enough to keep the engine from running.
I'm guessing an injector stuck open. That will drown a cylinder, and it'll never fire. But more details would be nice - in addition to what happened above - did this start all of a sudden? How?
