Ari - you are absolutely right about the bulb. I went out and bought the switch after I read your first respond which only cost $18.00 and I can easily return it back to the shop and get the money back with no problem.

Today, I checked and replaced all the bulbs with the correct specifications and sure enough it is now working fine. I just bought the '97 CSE T. with 125k miles on it and I plan on keeping it for a long time to come, so I hope its worth it. This is my 2nd Saab 9k and I particular like this one with auto tran & turbo. Heard a lot a good thing about '97 model, will keep my finger cross. Thank you very much for your help. Sam
