I seem to be loosing gas from the 2 pipe connector attached to the compressor. That needs to be replaced.

What other components and/or piping in a 14 year old car AC system should be replaced? Are there any concerns about just unbolting pipes and components to replace them?

How do I evacuate the system? And then refill after components replaced?
