ray,don't shim the shock-shim the spring.you will need a level patch of ground.a level [tool].open hatch place level on a flat surface.leans to what the drivers side?jack up car put on stands/use thr rear trailing arm pivot point as a stand point to place.remove shocks-measure lenght unloaded. same?are shocks worn?replace if ness. it would take a real f.u. to weld in shock tower wrong. iv'e done 4 repairs.good luck. as for the front tire wear?look hard at bushings. burt.
