I just replaced both my bottom motor mounts on my '88 9000 by jacking up my engine. I had some trouble getting aligning the holes when I lowered the engine back down, but everything seemed fine when I screwed in the bolt nuts. Now I have trouble getting my upper torque arm to fit in the top mount bushing. Seems like I need to push the engine forward about 1/2" to get it to fit, but that'd be a lot of stress on the torque arm and bushings. I saw some other posts on people using clamps and pulling the two components towards each other, how have the bushings fared afterwards?
