I needed to fix it so I can drive the car, don't have time or place to change the pan, so I tried plumbers putty (epoxy in a cheese roll). it set up before I got it all together, also i noticed a trans to engine bolt near the bottom front missing. Long story short, I had to redo it, using RTV instead. It works for now, leaks much less, still need to fix it for real someday.
I imagine the other bolt having escaped put more strain on the pan bolt. I changed the trans 3 or so years ago and the leak just started this week.
