my reference information comes from owning multiple 9000s. It could be that the cooling fan is being kicked on by the A/C system. Have you noticed the A/C fan in front of the condenser also cycling on? The additional action of your radiator cooling fan might be intended as a supplement to the A/C fan. Has the temperature gauge needle remained in its usual position; is it drifting around the gauge?
