Loving the turbo boost in chilly Miami !!

Us Saabers in the sub-tropics don't usually get this cold to notice dramatic increase in the turbo boost. It feels like 10 HP more to me in the Aero and I was really enjoying the snappy performance around town.
I lost the distributor hole plug a few days ago and noticed a shiny-oily battery today from crank-case blowing into engine compartment and had to plug with a $0.64 frost-plug from NAPA. Do any of you have an external U-clamp device threaded into the block to make sure the plug cannot blow out? I see a threaded tap-hole next to this plug area and would like to install a safeguard against another lost plug. Please advise.
