Malfunctioning TCS is a nightmare in motion because it screws up mostly when the driver NEEDS to accelerate and does so by usurping throttle control AND braking - as in when climbing a steep hill or entering the interstate.
TCS cars have the electronic throttle body - get a pic of both types and you'll know immediately if it has the bloody thing.
Supposedly it was much improved by '94, but my last one was a '93 so I cannot say - but this I can say...when it is fine it is no bother, but when it screws up it is ALL about bothering the driver and not very safe to drive with.
My only advice to offer:
You would be best off KNOWING for sure if this car has it or not before buying.
