That is very....illuminating info !

I also wonder if any certain color/temp has tested to work better than others for the largest/widest penetration.

This concerns me because of the amount of wildlife constantly on our highways and having a strong desire to see them as well as possible (thereby avoiding any further tragic car losses).

The folks at that site are obviously either making these lights in their own facility in China, or acting as direct importers.

This reminds me hugely of buying from DealExtreme - where all the items are of Asian manufacture and quite often they are super good buys with very good quality as well.
And all DX is doing is acting as a front-end or retail jobber for bunches of small gadget makers.
Even with the language barrier and distance they have been great whenever something was out of kilter - the ONLY thing is that shipping takes a week or 2, but I can live with that easily enough.

Seems like these lighting folks also want happy customers.

I am strongly considering getting these for my car and will be eager to see any updates on this subject.
