I'm going by memory here, but I think you have the switched and constant power lines reversed. Just make sure the thicker one goes to the thicker one on the new deck and you're fine. The twisted wires are the speaker wires, or signal wires. What year and trim level is your car? The premium setup used a separate amp under the passenger seat, whereas the standard one wired the speakers directly to the head unit. This is very important to know, since if you have the amp you want to connect those wires to the line outs of the new deck, otherwise you want to connect to the speaker outputs.
