I have 96 9000 aero with HK system.

at some point the 6X9 (subs) must have blown so previous owner put sony 6x9's

Prob is hardly and sound (only very inaudible lows) came from the speakers

I hard wired the 4.5 inch and 6x9's together for full range (although crossed over abit)

I then used the sub wires and extended them into a 10" self powered sub. (HAVE TO CONVERT HIGH LEVEL TO LOW LEVEL WITH A CONVERTOR OR A SUB THAT HAS ONE BUILT IN.

RESULTS are nothing short of AMAZING!
